At the end of the day as we watch the sun close out the memories of our past We contemplate Where have we been? Where are we going? And what, can I do now? As we struggle to find a balance We are eager, only to accept The status quo Yet, only, for another day It’s time for a change Time to break out From the shadows we hide behind And embrace our struggle We remind ourselves That only we hold the key To unlock our true ability It’s time to achieve, more...than just…..satisfactory And in that moment That we realize as the new sun rises a brand new set of obstacles will emerge for us to overcome Victoriously Because one day It will all be gone.
