Hampden firefighters train for ice rescue

On Saturday February 20th the Hampden Fire Department performed hours of ice rescue training on the frozen Mill pond on Mill Rd in Hampden. It is always great to see our local hero’s prepping and training hard for any serious unforeseen circumstances that may occur. It is this type of effort from our community and public safety officials that makes the small town of Hampden so great.
